Claim the promises of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!! Write them on your hearts and minds.

Keep them with you always!!
Be very careful when claiming Old Testament promises. God's promises must be about who HE is. Jesus Christ promised that we will have struggles, and that in this world we will have trouble; however,
His promise is that HE has overcome the world.

We overcome by seeking an encounter with Him and discovering Jesus, Himself.

Matthew 7:7 - Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.

Isaiah 40:31 - Those who hope in (wait on) the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

James 1:6 - When he asks he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

Psalms 118:6 - The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

James 1:2-4 - Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

I Corinthians 13:4-8 - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Galatians 5:22-23 - The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

John 15:12 - My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

Romans 12:21 - Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 12:2 - Do not conform any longer to the pattern on this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Hebrews 12:2 - Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Matthew 19:26 - With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
